Activities In Kvednaflåt:Indoor activities: The main house has a large hall, a dining room and a living room. An overhead projector and projecction screen are available in the office. There is a selection of books and games for a rainy day, as well as a TV/DVD player ( no television reception). Terrace: From the living room and the dining room doors open to the south facing terrace with garden furniture (which may or may be there depending on where previous tenants decided to take it...) The lawn immediately adjacent to the terrace is very suitable for BBQ. Lawns: Around the main house there are three large lawns for ballgames and other group activities, as well as a larger rough field near the lake. Available in the office of the main house are a badminton set, a croquet set, a volleyballset. On the lawns there are also swings and football goals. BBQ: Enjoy the 3 BBQ's on any lawn or the terrace, but not in the entryway. Please be careful about fire risk and return them to the cellar after use. Lake: There is a made path down to the lake. The lake is large, but also has a small beach and shallow part suitable for small children. There are lots of trout in the lake - I believe the record catch for one day is 29 fish. The largest so far was 2.5 kg. Bring your own fishing rod. Boating: Along the lake are a white rowing boat and 3 green canoes for the exclusive use of Kvednaflaat guests, marked Kvednaflåt. In addition the yellow waterbike is shared with the neighbouring hytte. If it is in use, please arrange times with the tenants there. Lifevests are available, hanging in the entrance hall. It is possible to take the canoes on to Imeseid and onto Notlandsvatnet recreational area. Please do return them to Kvednaflåt. Hiking: Kvednaflåt is one of the way points in the hiking trail Opplev Dalane, with marked trails to Imeseid (45mins), the hangingbridge across Notlandsvatnet and on to Eikeli and Globstad (3hrs), as well as Kjervall. There are also many unmarked trails to discover and enjoy on the property, in the woods, up to high points and hidden lakes...
